About Dhikr (Islamic Remembrance)

Dhikr is the practice of remembering Allah through repetition of sacred phrases. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ regularly recommended saying Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah and Allahu Akbar 33 times each after every prayer — a practice that purifies the heart and draws one closer to Allah.

"Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest."Quran 13:28

Common Dhikr Phrases

Subhanallah (Glory be to Allah) · Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah) · Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest) · La ilaha illallah (There is no god but Allah) · Astaghfirullah (I seek Allah's forgiveness)
